A Tour Operator with over 70 years experience are looking for Ski Reservations consultants to join their specialist team. You will be fielding a wide range of enquiries from clients, from those who know exactly what holiday they wish to book and are very knowledgeable, to those who have never skied before or have never skied before and have no idea of what they want, and thus need guiding towards a suitable resort and suitable accommodation. As Product knowledge is the key, you will be learning on the job & given appropriate product training so that you are armed to answer any questions that you are asked. You will check availability using the reservations system called Travelink, and can confirm bookings (and issue an invoice) or place them on option for clients. Once a booking is made it is the responsibility of the reservations department to confirm the accommodation and some of the travel arrangements (depending on how the client wishes to travel).  It is also their responsibility to register any special requirements. Your job will be to find the answer and call the client back with the correct details whilst documenting the information given. The job is challenging and rewarding but demanding. Organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure are very important. A leading tour operator are looking for a Marketing Co-ordinator due to expansion, where you will be working alongside and providing support to their experienced Marketing manager. You will complete regular and thorough analysis, logging of competitor activity and insight to assigned destinations, helping to analyse market trends, customer demands and upcoming topical themes, to ensure that the product proposition gets ‘under the skin’ of the customer, achieved through detailed analysis of internal data (e.g. Business Objects) to understand the sales position and customer demand. A ski reservations executive is required to join the reservations department selling tailor made holidays to ski, winter sun and summer destinations This reservations position involves handling all travel arrangements, including booking flights, transfers, hotels, weekend breaks and sporting activities.
