Customer Relations Executive, £17k, Surrey. ref: V446/2362

A leading UK Travel Provider are looking for a Customer Relations Executive to handle and resolve customer complaints fairly, in accordance with agreed guidelines after careful investigation and analysis of the complaint, resolving the problem to the satisfaction of both parties, and to minimum cost to the company whilst ensuring a consistently high level of customer service is delivered with an overriding objective of customer retention. You will investigate new/ongoing complaints with suppliers and other departments to ensure comprehensive information obtained for compiling informative and well structured replies to customers, using the customer services complaint handling database and ensure that case notes, compensation and complaint classification is correctly added and that internal systems are fully utilised to obtain relevant information. You will work to personal/departmental targets to turnaround investigations and responses within specified time frames; assessing complaints fairly in accordance with agreed departmental and ABTA guidelines and handle and resolve correspondence including first time complaints and comeback responses in writing or by telephone. This will lead to you assessing compensation and or refunds in accordance with agreed guidelines, and aim to recover payments from suppliers and identifying and escalate problem areas to Senior Coordinator/Manager for further action/consideration and for monthly Quality Reporting by liaising with Product, Destination Management, and Health & Safety, as appropriate, and suggest areas for improvement. The successful candidate will have a good standard of written English and have worked in a customer service focussed environment before and preferably have experience of working in a letter writing environment and/or travel.

A Villa's Consultant is required by a well established holiday specialist to make reservations selling Luxury Villas and Apartments. You will be involved all aspects of selling villas and apartments. As a result you will be answering the telephone and dealing with customer enquiries by phone, whilst responding to e-mail enquiries from customers. You will be taking reservations from customers by e-mail or phone with an emphasis on recommending, as closely as possible, a suitable villa or apartment appropriate to the customer’s requirements and that of his / her party. Once a sale has closed you will be required to follow through the booking procedure by advising the supplier of the booking, and ensure that the correct documentation e.g. an invoice is sent to the customer and payment is collected. You will be given full product training to ensure that you familiarise yourself with the product in order to effectively sell the properties to customers. A sector leading travel company are looking for a Airline Executive to work within their busy flights department where you will be responsible for obtaining the Company's group air allocations from airlines and through booking seats on Amadeus, and administering the seat stock thereafter to maximise materialisation. This role will see you submitting group flight allocation requests to the chosen carriers by deadlines set internally and by carriers, monitoring allocation requests after submission by liaising with carriers to obtain confirmation of seats either direct from carrier or through booking, monitoring confirmation classes to ensure allocation is confirmed from the airline in the correct and expected fare using company airline contracts with incorrect classes queried and alternatives found if original airline is unwilling to confirm seats in correct class. You will seek alternative flight options using different carriers or routing if original request refused and present detailed information to allow for a decision to be made, whilst maintaining records of group allocation requests and confirmations by using the company's allocations log, this is an essential daily task. You will monitor queues and control the effects of schedule changes and seek alternatives if airline option is not suitable for the successful operation of the tour, and communicate changes to relevant staff in the company. The successful candidate will have up-to-date CRS skills, with a working understanding of Airline Contracts and the Airline Industry, including experience and a good knowledge of international airlines and route networks. You will be have good numerate and analytical skills , be flexible and able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines This role would be ideal for someone from a Tour operator flights background or from a busy airline reservations department.

You will be joining a close knit team that will allow you to enjoy the full aspect of working with in an exciting tour operator. You will be responsible for taking the initial enquiry, listening to the needs of the customer before drawing up an appropriate itinerary from our client’s extensive product. You will convert the enquiry into a booking, and then ensure that all the details of the booking are booked correctly and that this accurate with the details that the ground handlers have. You will ensure that all payments are taken in time and invoiced correctly to the appropriate parties. Prior to departure you will ensure all documentation is issued correctly, and collate this information into packs to be sent out to the customer, alongside itinerary notes. You will also act as a point of contact throughout the customers booking experience, ensuring that all of their questions and queries are answered to their satisfaction.
