A specialist tour operator are looking for a PA / Office Assistant to join their team to efficiently assist the Management Team with day to day tasks and various management projects, including Human Resources.  You will be working closely with the MD, handling all calls taking messages, organising their diary and sales trips and trade fairs (make appointments with clients, book flights, hotel accommodation, fill in all required forms for trade fairs).  You will also create memos to staff, assist Operations and Contracts Director with recruitment, attend meetings on request to take minutes and follow-up on action points, and proess expense reports.  Interacting with the rest of the company you will be responsible for being the point of contact for Operations and Contracts Director and Operations staff and make appointments with MD, organise weekly meetings between MD and Operations and Contracts Director - to attend to these meetings, take minutes and send minutes, action points and deadline to everyone and deal with other minor HR issues such as sickness and holiday. You will also be helping ensure the office runs smoothly.  The successful candidate will be able to speak French to an advance level, with a good attention to detail, a good communicator, and be able to work to deadlines.  You will preferably have worked in an office environment previously.

An award winning Inbound Tour Operator are looking for an Japanese or Korean speaking Operations Executive to operate all FIT tasks successfully, helping to achieve maximum profit for the Company whilst maintaining the best possible relations with clients and suppliers. Helping to run tour operations you will check and process all incoming e-mails within 24 hours deadline, create bookings, negotiate with suppliers to obtain availability for On Request bookings, deal with relocations on priority basis and be revenue aware whilst also assisting with clients and suppliers on the phone and processing cancellations and amendments. You will develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all suppliers and service providers, to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the allocated clients and to have total responsibility for all their confirmed traveling groups once the handover from the reservations department has taken place. You will be responsible for ensuring that all services are correctly booked from the time that a booking is confirmed and ensure that requested changes are confirmed within company deadlines and that the client is constantly updated on the status of the group. When it comes to the time of travel you will issue the correct documentation (e.g. invoices, vouchers and general information) on time, while also being responsible for ensuring that payment for bookings is collected in accordance with company requirements. Other duties will see you dealing with customer feedback and making sure that supplier's invoices are according to agreed contracts. The successful candidate will be friendly and very customer orientated, able to work to a high accuracy, with the ability to work to tight deadlines. As you will be dealing with overseas markets you need to be fluent English and German. This is a marvellous opportunity to enter the Travel industry as experience is not necessary.

Luxury Reservations - French and German, Up to £19K, London, ref: V499/2560

French and German Reservations agents are required to work in a busy upmarket luxury tour operator, making reservations for the French and German speaking markets. One of the most romantic names in travel are looking for reservations agents to help support the booking team with those market places helping to secure sales and maximising opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell other products. A group Reservation executive for Italian speaking reservations is required to join the group reservations department of expanding established travel company. The position will involve providing day to day point of contact to our Italian clients for Hotel Reservations and service reservations and preparing quotations for clients within company guidelines / sales initiatives & implement routine follow up. You will ensure Reservations and service requests have been replied in a timely manner and multi-task in all areas of the Reservation administration / customer service function. The role will involve effectively introducing new business by producing quality, competitive quotations in response to our client's group travel requirements in the UK. To develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the allocated clients and to have total responsibility for all their confirmed travelling groups. You will be expected to acknowledge all new requests with a telephone call and ensure all requests are qualified then produce quality quotations using our standard systems and consistently trying to maximise the conversion rates. An operations executive is required to join one of the UK’s premier DMC's within the inbound travel industry. Our client is currently looking for a person to join our group’s team to assist with quoting and operating. The ideal candidate should have experience in the inbound travel industry and should be fluent in English with one further European language. The hotel contractor will be responsible for negotiating competitive contract rates with hoteliers throughout the UK and Europe achieving the best tariffs available.
