Product/Contract Manger, Up to £35K plus comm., London/Chester/Glasgow, ref: V459/3309

A product /contracting manager is required to head up the product /contracting department of large travel organisation in which you can be based out of London Glasgow or Chester. The role will involve securing the best rate & allocation practice in all areas of responsibility and ensure they receive the most competitive deals in the market place. He/she will maximise commercial return on relationships by ensuring highly competitive brochure contributions and sales overrides are incorporated into the contracting process. He/she will manage and oversee the XML relationships to ensure best rates and inventory is pulling through at all times and we are delivering the required product to the brand managers. You will also handle brochure production including pagination, layout, and copywriting. Liaise with the brochure production team and ensure high standard of content and good quality images. He/she will provide general product management and growth including the monitoring of sales and Identifying and pursuing new opportunities in existing areas of responsibility and ensure supplier's revenue targets are met and if necessary renegotiated to achieve the best financial gain. To be considered for the position you will need to be experienced in a Purchasing and Product role in travel and have strong negotiation and persuasion skills. You will need to be confident and competent in establishing relationships with key suppliers in various destinations with the ability o work flexibly and travel extensively - often at short notice.

Africa Product/Contracting Manager, Up to £35K plus bonus, London/Chester/Glasgow, ref: V459/3312

A Product / Contracting manager is required to join product / contracting team of leading travel organisation. The position will involve brochure production including pagination, layout, copywriting. and ensuring a high standard of content and good quality images. You will also ensure the brochure is produced in line with agreed timescales and manage competitor analysis and awareness. The position will involve maximising commercial return on relationships by ensuring highly competitive brochure contributions and sales overrides are incorporated into the contracting process and manage and overseeing  the XML relationships to ensure best rates and inventory. He/she will ensure supplier's revenue targets are met and if necessary renegotiate to achieve the best financial gain and conduct product training as and when needed. You will liaise with the Health and Safety Executive to ensure product meets minimum Health & Safety requirements. and oversees site inspections of existing and new properties to ascertain suitability and to negotiate competitive contracted rates and allocations. Experience in a Purchasing and Product role in travel essential. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills and ability to travel on short notice.

Airline and Content Manager, £26K + Bonuses, Surrey, ref: V230/3305

A well established, rapidly expanding travel company is seeking an airline and content manager to oversee and liaise with the airlines as well as managing the relationships and ensuring the reputation of the company is upheld within this section of the industry. The airline and content manager is responsible for ensuring that all contracts are loaded into the database correctly. The airline and content manager will manage all 3rd party air related XML links as to the content and continuity of supply of information. The airline and content manager will be responsible for liaising with ground product managers to assist in marketing promotions and ensuring airline information and rates are correct for the promotions and advertising and liaising with the customer services and ticketing department relating to all airline issues.  The airline and content manager will assist with the reconciliation of ADM’s where applicable. The successful candidate must have strong travel and airline experience at managerial level, along with excellent negotiation skills and GDS knowledge. He/she will need excellent communication skills and able to work to tight deadlines, under pressure.

Key Account Manager  (six month contract), Up to £34K, West Sussex, ref: V716/3295

Key account manager required to join the account management team of highly accredited travel organisation. The position will involve ensuring the identification, development and implementation of new accounts to optimise commercial opportunities and meet business requirements and contribute to managing the implementation / connectivity roll out of new accounts and contribute to optimising commercial terms with designated accounts, to agreed timeframes in line with policy and legal advice. He/she will contribute to ensuring the effective management of key accounts to optimise commercial opportunities and the delivery of targets and service level agreements. He/she will  be accountable for ensuring proactive contribution to and exploitation of promotional and PR activity in respect of Product / Supplier opportunities for designated accounts  He/she will contribute to agreeing the trade-offs between application functionality, cost and the time to market and ensure effective management of the relationship with designated accounts during project lifecycles. To be considered for the position proven experience in the travel industry at management level with experience in a commercial related role essential. Proven knowledge of market trends, the online travel landscape, sales and distribution channels, product supply yield management and distribution strategies advantageous. 

Sales / Reservations Manager, Up to £40K plus comm., Central London, ref: V184/3277

A sales / reservations manager is required to lead up the sales team for an outstanding travel company within luxury travel. This varied hands on position will involve managing the reservations team and developing their client base as well as securing new business opportunities. As a key member of the management team this person will lead the sales team providing hands on leadership and direction, motivating and energising the team to increase performance levels. The successful person will be expected to lead from the front to enable the company to meet its targets in terms of sales revenue, customer breadth and market share. The position will involve being responsible for managing the day-to-day sales and assisting with direct marketing campaigns,  increasing lead generation and conversion rates throughout the sales department and working with the Senior Management, to provide line management for the sales and sales support departments to motivate and develop the teams. He/she will ensure smooth working practices between sales, marketing and the rest of the organisation and will be responsible for customer acquisition, retention & development. He/she will monitor sales team performance and ensure they are performing to standard and developing an effective sales strategy to ensure optimum output from the team and have a hands on approach to ensure that members of the team are coping with their workload and working as effectively as possible, and if necessary take over any enquiries on a ad hoc basis. To be considered for the position you will need a substantial proven track record in maintaining and winning business plus proven ability to manage a successful sales team Previous experience within sales management within a luxury travel brand is essential. Some experience in digital / online marketing with experience of acquiring customers online would be advantageous.

Sales Manager (EMEA), £40K (OTE £55K), UK & Europe, ref: V492/3257

Reporting to the Managing Director the Operations director will manage the operational activities of the business including the day to day activities; manage the business travel consultants and the accounts team. He/she will handle all difficult problems from clients and develop and maintain relationships to ensure the highest level of service is continually provided. You will develop and agree strategies to increase revenue through maintenance and development of client activity and other travel relationships. You will be confident dealing and communicating with senior management. You will keep abreast of competitors, trends and provide input to improve company systems, or best practices.  In addition you will produce reports on revenue, consultants and client activity. The successful candidate will be an outgoing individual who is confident in driving a team forward. He/she will be able to meet, speak and communicate with media, music and VIP's.  Ideally you will have experience of arranging music tours or events but this is not essential. You will be extremely organised with good forward planning skills. You will be flexible in your working hours to meet the demands of clients and problems that may arise. This role will see you working closely with the senior management where you will be responsible for responsible for determining application of available resources, spotting and exploiting commercial and product opportunities, and prioritising the workload of the department to ensure the maximum benefit to the organisation. You will ensure that the most of every single sales enquiry received is made, ensuring good and bad leads are differentiated to maximise revenue and profit from them. You will ensure that the product is sold to the clients and the supporting information provided with it for travel is first class, thus helping to achieve levels of client service at all stages in the process that ‘wow’ clients. A leading luxury brand is looking for a senior marketing manager to join this expanding prestigious brand.  You will have proven skills in direct mail and advertising campaigns, with all round marketing experience and be able to effectively manage a team whilst implementing a new and aggressive direct marketing strategy to achieve the company’s direct growth target. A product manager is required to negotiate highly competitive commercial agreements with individual hotels and ground handlers and maximise commercial return on relationships by ensuring marketing contributions are incorporated into deals. You will tactically re-negotiate deals throughout the year and liaise with overseas and UK suppliers on a daily basis and build relationships.
